Hellfire Pass.

Day One and a nice ride to Kanchanaburi for some lunch and a massage, before heading up to Thong Pha Phum.

A stop off at Hellfire Pass along the way... the memorial for the PoW's who lost their lives building the Death Railway in WWII. Made famous by the movie 'The Bridge Over The River Kwai'.

Link here.

After a night in Thong Pha Phum it's a ride along one of the best biking roads in Thailand, to Sangkhlaburi, and then back to Kanchanaburi for a night on a River House.

Lovely cool mountain air and good roads.

Hellfire Pass.

The always brilliant entrance to Thong Pha Phum town.

Just in time for a parade of sorts.

A fine local meal after a day of riding.

Thai mountain town life.

The next morning climb up to a temple over looking the town and mountains.

Making some friends along the way.

The water must be good.

Some nice twisties to get the knee down.

The longest wooden bridge in Thailand.

This young girl was riding her old bike in bare feet.

Suddenly she stopped to run into some trees and try to knock off some fruit to eat.

Local school uniforms.

A nice, cool and misty ride back to Kanchanaburi.

A place to chill on a river houseboat in Kanchanburi, before hitting the town for some deserved food 'n beer.
